Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-14
This Privacy Policy explains how Sand Harbor Software, LLC (doing business as Meadow) handles data.
1. Local-First Application
Meadow is primarily a local application.
Content you create, edit, or manage within the app stays on your device.
We do not access or collect your local files, drafts, or unpublished content.
2. Published Content Is Public
When you choose to publish a site using our hosting feature:
- The published site becomes publicly accessible
- Anyone with the site's URL can view its contents
- You are responsible for what you choose to publish
Do not publish private, sensitive, or confidential information unless you intend for it to be public.
3. Data We Store for Hosting
For published sites, we store:
- The files required to serve the published site
- Basic technical metadata necessary to operate the service (such as storage usage and timestamps)
We do not actively review or monitor published content.
4. No Active Monitoring
We do not proactively inspect or moderate published sites.
However, we may remove content or disable access if:
- We receive a valid legal request or takedown notice
- We become aware of content that violates our Terms of Service or applicable law
5. Network Communications
Although Meadow is primarily local, the app makes limited network requests:
- Update checks: The app periodically contacts our servers to check whether a newer version is available. These requests contain only technical metadata (such as the current app version) and do not include user-identifiable information.
- Operational data: We may collect limited operational data (such as error logs or basic usage metrics) to keep the service running and improve reliability.
As with any network request, our servers may receive your IP address. We do not use this information to identify or track individual users.
We do not sell user data.
6. Third-Party Services
Hosting infrastructure may be provided by third-party services (for example, cloud storage or content delivery networks). These services process data only as necessary to deliver published content.
We may use Google Analytics on our marketing website to understand aggregate site visits and downloads. Google Analytics may receive technical information such as page URL, browser, device, and IP address, subject to Google's own policies.
7. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may evolve as the platform grows.
If changes are significant, we will update the policy and reflect the new "Last updated" date.
